I woke up with parsley in my mind. Just the whispers of yam porridge in my subconscious and heart.
 The funny thing is that, little did I know that parsley is commonly called Effirin  in Yoruba, Nchawu in Igbo and Doidoyi in Hausa.It plays  a role in the kitchen, especially  for Porridge and Local Palm oil rice. Apart from its culinary benefit, it also has immense nutrients contents.A surprisingly small amount of parsley is packed with vitamins,just two tablespoons provides two percent of your daily calcium, iron and folate; 12 percent of your vitamin A; over 150 percent of your vitamin K; and 16 percent of your vitamin C.
