Dangers Of Hydroquinone

I recently went to the supermarket,to get some of my Toiletries i stumbled upon a product which i have been looking and wishing to buy,but fortunately i got it. I did the purchase, but unfortunately i forgot to read the content of the product at the supermarket i got home and discovered the product, contains HYDROQUINONE A very dangerous substance used in skin lightening with adverse effect of causing Skin Cancer
.
Here is a lecture on Hydroquinone and its side effect.

Skin brightening or whitening has gotten somewhat of a bad reputation. People are either wary of the severity or harshness of the chemicals used in whitening creams, while others are scared that using a skin brightener will make them look albino. However, both of these fears are popular misconceptions. Many of the best brightening creams use natural ingredients, and a few of the most effective, highest quality creams even pass rigorous sensitivity testing. Odds are, even if someone were trying to make their skin completely white, they would not see such effects with a simple skin brightener. This is mainly due to the fact that skin brighteners and skin whiteners are not the same as skin bleaching or lightening products. Skin brighteners are available over-the-counter and most have little to no risk of causing potentially harmful or damaging side effects from use.
Anyone who is looking for a topical skin cream to help diminish the look of sun spots, age spots, hyper pigmentation, or any number of other discolorations in skin tone needs to be aware that a product labeled a skin whitener or skin brightener is different from a skin bleaching agent. In addition, there is one other crucial fact all potential skin brightener consumers need to be aware of; the dangers associated with the ingredient, hydroquinone, when used in topical products.
Hydroquinone is often used in skin bleaching products, mainly because it has been proven to help in making skin tone more even. However, there are certain dangers that have become associated with using a cream with Hydroquinone in it. Hydroquinone has been scientifically linked to several different health issues, the most dangerous being cancer. Hydroquinone risks have compelled several different European countries to prohibit the use of Hydroquinone in topical brightening creams and other products. In short, Hydroquinone is an effective ingredient, but it comes with certain health risks that many manufacturers are unwilling to use in their products.
While Hydroquinone was very effective at whitening skin tone (including bleaching freckles, lightening spots, sun spots & more), it is not the sole ingredient capable of this. One highly ranked and well reviewed skin brightening cream has replaced the dangerous, but effective Hydroquinone with the effective and safe Alpha-Arbutin as a primary ingredient.
The first thing anyone looking to whiten their skin with the use of a topical cream should be on guard for is if Hydroquinone is on the ingredient list. While it was very successful in helping to fade the look of skin discolorations or dark spots, it is not worth risking one’s health and safety by using a cream that contains this ingredient. It is important to note that one cream that uses Alpha-Arbutin as an alternative to Hydroquinone has shown rather impressive statistics and data regarding the cream’s success. For instance, after just one month of use, the skin brightening cream made with alpha-arbutin brightened and whitened skin by 50%.

After this am so returning the product and advise them not to sell it again.
