African Black Soap

 

Hi Lovelies, Today Is Friday, thank God Is Friday and we are gonna talk about African black soap or rather  Ose Dudu. The thing I love about Ose dudu is the moisturizing effect it has on my skin and Hair( Because Of the Presence of Glycerine) it also has antibacterial, anti-oxidant, anti-fungal, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antiviral.  It is a natural source of the vitamins A and E.  It also contains iron oxides and it has natural healing properties. I can just imagine  the surprise on your face, Yes and it works wonders.Raw Black Soap Base, is made from the ashes of plantain skin( Which gives it its dark color), cocoa pod and palm leaves, and palm oil from leaves or kernels.
 It is the perfect base to start off with because it contains gobs of Shea Butter and does not leave skin or hair dry. Also,you can grate it to make the melting process easier in hot water . Most times, I prefer to make use of my Black soap in the liquid form rather than the solid states, because the solid melts pretty fast If Not stored properly after usage. I make my own liquid black soap which serves as a dual purpose soap( Shampoo and Body wash)  by adding my raw black soap, which is used as a base, Organic Honey (to soften skin and hair) Aloe vera ( Great Exfoliating Properties and great deep conditioning effect).
The raw ingredient added depends on what it is being used, either for skin brightening hair shampoo or Skin Detox.  For some  one who desire its brightening properties, Lime Is added to the base.This Soap,is one of the healthiest soap to be used on the skin and hair due to its purity and simplicity of the Ingredients.
